  • One of the most famous celebrations in the world, Mardi Gras in New Orleans is the party of all parties. Not just limited to the French Quarter, different parades, sponsored by groups known as krewes, are held both inside and outside the city's boundaries. Various balls are held during Mardi Gras. Some are by invitation only.
