Welcome To Muskegon, MI

Known as the "Lumber Queen of the World", the city of Muskegon is located in the state of Michigan and originally had a big hand in the lumbering industry of the nineteenth century. In present day, the city is a center of culture and features numerous universities and colleges as well as many major employers, museums, festivals, and entertainment venues.

Things To Do

Michigan's Adventure is the largest amusement park in the state of Michigan and features over 250-acres of attractions and rides. Contained within the park are seven roller coasters, numerous rides, and an outdoor water park called WildWater Adventure.

The USS Silversides Submarine Museum is a World War II history museum which features an authentic World War II submarine which is on display and available for tours. The museum also offers numerous special events as well as the ability to book an overnight stay on the submarine.

The Muskegon Museum of Art is an art museum in the city of Muskegon which features collections, exhibitions, arts education, and events throughout the year. The museum is impressive for a city of Muskegon's size, and is well regarded as one of the best in the region.

The L.C. Walker Arena and Event Center is a multi-purpose arena which seats 5,100 people. The arena is primarily used for sports games but is also used for trade shows, conventions, concerts, and other special events.

The Pere Marquette Park is a public park which consists of 2.5 miles of public beach property on Lake Michigan. In 2004, the beach was ranked in a number of lists as a certified clean beach.
