Welcome To Hershey, PA

Visit Hershey, PA, the Sweetest Place on Earth

The community lies in the central region of Pennsylvania and is often referred to as Chocolatetown, U.S.A. As the area had an abundance of dairy farms, Milton S. Hershey determined that the location was the ideal spot to construct his world famous chocolate factory. Additionally, desiring to have a pleasant community in which his employees and their families might live, Hershey also developed the town. Popular community attractions include Hershey's Chocolate World, the Hershey Museum and the Milton S. Hershey Mansion.

Things To Do

Each May, the community celebrates the Art on Chocolate festival. The event features a fine art and craft fair in the downtown area, which involves more than 100 artists. Student creations go on display at The Hershey Story museum. Food and beverages are provided along with many different children's activities.

Hershey Park is the location for the annual Mixtape Festival. The event features a long lineup of celebrity bands and entertainers.

The June, Annual Museum CARnival Car Show features exhibits of all types, shapes and years of cars, motorcycles and scooters. The event also features live entertainment, food and family-friendly activities, which includes the Valve Cover Races.

In June, Trendfest is scheduled to perform at the Giant Center Stadium. In addition to hosting sporting events, the venue routinely presents concerts performed by celebrity guests and other live performances.

The Hershey Theatre and IMC Concerts present the Hershey Gospel Music Festival for an entire weekend each September. Gospel music fans enjoy concerts day and night during the festival.
