Appalachian Festival

Get a taste of authentic Appalachian culture during this annual August weekend event. Approximately 100 artisans display a variety of crafts made for generations. See everything from needlework and sewing to pottery and woodworking. Indulge on some traditional down home mountain cuisine and enjoy the foot stomping music. Tour a coal mine, embark on a ghost hunt and learn a little bit of community history.
