AMAZING NEWS! WITCH 'N' MONK HAVE GROWN NEW LIMBS. Yes, in spite of everything this truly exciting project is going ahead. You will know, from hearing our latest album, that there are many sounds and layers in the cauldron. Our ideas exceed the number of appendages we can effectively manoevre simultaneously. But luckily we encountered @ensembleluxnm (or 'the Luxis' as they are affectionately known) - a group of contemporary musicians with a particularly adventurous spirit. They courted us with a show during which they played some wild music, with a short interlude during which they started caressing a giant crystal. It's a good match for us. This is the beginning of a collaboration during which we will do a number of uniquely different concerts together. It turns out Berlin also has a drummer on our wavelength, so we enlisted Jim Black to fix the grooves onto the planet. Anyone that knows him and his playing will understand, without any adjectives necessary. Some of our music just about fits onto A4 paper, but other ideas needed something more multidimensional, so we are also working with the fabulous visual wizard Florian Japp who has helped us create 3D video scores for the project. Our first audiovisual excursion together will happen online. So be ready on 24th September at 8pm CEST (NB. this concert will only be available to view until midnight on 24.9) WE ARE EXCITED.
