  • Online Qoya, a mindful movement practice for women.Join Laurie Gosselin, certified Qoya teacher, to explore Reclaiming your WILD Nature. In its essence, to be wild is permission to be yourself without any filters or inhibitions. In Qoya the invitation is to express versus repress. Lets deepen our connection to our wild nature together through dance. The wild nature has a vast integrity to it. Clarissa Pinkola EstesQoya is based on a simple idea that through movement, we remember. We remember our essence is inherently wise, wild and free. Wise, wild and free also draw reference to the movement forms in a Qoya class. Wise calls on the wisdom traditions of yoga. Wild calls on the authentic expression in dance. Free calls on expanding our capacity to enjoy being in our body through sensual movement. No experience necessary. Qoya is authentic movement and it's important to know that you cant do it wrong. Wear clothes that feel comfortable to move in. Bring a journal and pen as well as some water to sip. Also bring a yoga mat, blanket & pillow, if you like.Classes are offered via Zoom. You'll need a strong internet connection and may want to receive this with the best speakers you have access to. For example, the volume listening on your computer will be more than your phone. Listening on a bluetooth speaker or with bluetooth headphones may improve sound quality. If you're going to join us, please know that there will be breakout rooms to give you an opportunity to share with other participants. If you would rather not share, you can simply take time to journal.Donations are welcomed and appreciated by e-transfer to [email protected] learn more about Qoya, visit www.qoya.love
