Battle of Selma Re-enactment

One of the largest re-enactments of the Civil War in Alabama, the Battle of Selma marks the event by the firing of cannons and a full weekend of food, music and demonstrations from the era. You will see the infantry and the cavalry as they go to battle. A period military ball is held in one of the great antebellum homes during the weekend where all attendees must dress in period costume.
