Reiki Share/Intro to Reiki

Reiki Shares are a wonderful opportunity for us to come together and offer healing and support for one another. If you are curious or new to Reiki, this is a great way for you to experience it first hand! Current Practitioners, this is a great way to practice what you have learned in training to feel and see its benefits within a group setting and network with like-minded people.

This is a healthy Meetup for people that are dealing with stress, both physically and emotionally, and are curious about the healing benefits of Reiki & Meditation or deepening their Reiki Experience. This is great for people who may be intimidated by the Mystery of Reiki. It will get explained to you in simple language because Reiki is Simple!

Every one who attends receives Reiki and everyone is also encouraged to participate in giving Reiki, even if you are not a Practitioner. The translation of Reiki is "Universal Energy", which resides within all of us. As Obi-Wan explains to Luke Skywalker about the FORCE... "Its an energy field created by all living things; it surrounds us, it penetrates us, it binds the galaxy together. " We all have the ability to share this energy. This ancient healing system of Reiki teaches us how to awaken, connect and utilize this energy in our daily lives for the benefit of our spiritual development and well-being.

Reiki is also becoming popular in Hospitals and Hospice for Nurses, Staff and Volunteers. Anyone in the medical field is encouraged to learn more about Reiki. I have some great articles if anyone is interested. All you need to bring to a Reiki Share are; socks if your feet tend to get cold and water. I will provide some beverages; hot tea, lemon water.

I have met some wonderful and life long friends within this community and am so grateful that each of you share your time with me and each other. We are all part of a new journey to awaken our highest potential to benefit ourselves and others.
