RMCC Climbing Tuesday, at Night with Lights!

The views from our summer climbs are amazing at night. Come check it out!

Continuing the Tuesday Night Climbs, now with lights. We meet at Beverly Heights Park at the base of Lookout. We'll do a route walk-through at 5:30 with wheels rolling shortly after.

There are two primary routes, variations likely based on mood and conditions.
- Standard route: Lookout, Colorow, Mt. Vernon, Genessee Mt., Genessee Short Loop, Paradise/Lamb, and return. Roughly 90 minutes with stops.
- Alternate route: 19th, Ford, Johnson, Heritage, US40, Lookout, Mt. Vernon, Genesee Short Loop, back down US40.

Pace will be more social than the daylight rides, but still still be a "drop" ride with regroup points. Pace may accelerate in some places. You should be ok if you can consistently do Lookout in ~30 minutes.

Stating the obvious:

Lights are required. I highly recommend bringing a backup light just in case your primary fails. Bring headlights you are comfortable descending with. Prefer rear lights to be steady.

Weather will play a big role in determining if this ride happens. Watch the weather and watch this space. We'll err on the side of safety.

It'll be rather cool. Bring layers, hand/feet warmers. Make sure all clothing is breathable, sweat is the enemy of warm and we'll generate plenty on the climbs.
