Apple Scrapple Festival

In an effort to gain recognition for the community, local leaders developed this November weekend event, which centers around locally grown apples and a locally homemade food known as scrapple. The event begins with a carnival, a food court offering a variety of popular treats and a street dance. Beginning the next morning, guests have the chance to indulge in an authentic scrapple breakfast. There are games for visitors of all ages that include scrapple carving and scrapple chunking. Other activities include car shows and tractor pulls along with craft and trade shows. The event also features an array of live entertainment.
