The community celebrates the western heritage of the Midwest with this spectacular event that features seven pro-rodeo events along with daredevil presentations, chariot races and chuckwagon races in the massive main arena. Held every July and spanning a full week, the fair also features numerous animal, agricultural and homemade exhibits along with a variety of vendors and activities.
Beginning in the third week of August and spanning 11 days, Grand Island celebrates another year of agriculture with the fair that has over 140 years of history.
