  • The biggest party in the world is held each year at Times Square as over a million local and international revelers gather at the Crossroads of the World. Entertained by amplified music, live performances, party hats and favors, the huge crowd celebrates for hours before the illuminated Waterford Crystal ball begins its descent at 11:59. At the stroke of midnight, tons of confetti pour over the assembled group as the New Year begins.
