The Great New York State Fair

First held in Syracuse in 1841, the annual fair traveled to numerous cities before returning permanently in 1890. A showcase of the agriculture, industry and cultural diversity of this great state, this event now welcomes over 1 million visitors over the course of its 12-day run.
