  • For approximately 2 weeks between May and June, Portland is in full bloom with its annual Rose Festival. Highlights include three separate parades, fireworks displays, races and, of course, a rose show. Around since the early 1900s, the festival puts a spotlight on volunteerism and environmentalism.
